 Stillwater... home of one of THE best fireworks displays!
Load up your entire family and join us Saturday, July 4 at Lowell Park in downtown Stillwater anytime between 11 a.m. until the fireworks start at 10:00 p.m. It will be a great day of fellowship for the whole family, ending with an amazing fireworks display over the St. Croix River to commemorate and celebrate our beautiful USA! There is no cost for this event. Bring your own food and drinks, or there will be food for purchase in the area.

 We were thrilled when 18 HomeMakers filtered through the door of Caribou last week for our first Just Java of the summer! There were a number of women who stepped out of their comfort zones and met up with us for the very first time, along with some that come whenever there’s a HomeMakers event on the calendar. We all grabbed a chair, strung a bunch of tables together, and we dominated the place… with coffee in hand, of course! It was a wonderful time to connect with the girls again. There were pockets of conversations taking place, sharing stories, getting to know one another better, and LOTS of laughter!
You would be hard-pressed to come to one of these events without meeting someone new. I think that’s a favorite part for me. I connected with a friend who used to come to HomeMakers, but I haven’t seen her for three years due to her changing work schedule. It was so much fun!

 You won't want to miss it...
Join us on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Chaska Golf Zone in Chaska for a little friendly competition with many fun prizes on a beautifully-landscaped 18-hole championship putting course!
Registration is closed after June 17th, so be sure to register here now! The cost is $20 per couple. (Childcare is not provided.)
In addition to you and your spouse, be sure to invite other married couples from Living Word. It will be a great way to spend a gorgeous June day outdoors! Hope to see you there!
