Please make payment IN FULL, if possible, upon registration.  If needed, you may hold your space with a non-refundable $30 deposit, by Tuesday, December 15.  Your remaining room balance would be due by Tuesday, January 26.

*Roommates: Please confirm with your choices of roommates that they ARE going and HAVE registered. We will not place people in your room, unless you request them by name in your registration. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR FINDING YOUR OWN ROOMMATES.  If the people you request for your room do not also register, and you have less people than the option you chose, you will need to pay the difference.

• Check-in time at the hotel is officially at 3:00 p.m.
• The evening activities begin at 6:30 p.m., in our event room. (Look for the HomeMakers/LAW Overnight sign in the lobby.)
• We'll be serving a variety of great appetizers, starting at 7:00.  It’s not a full meal, so don’t come TOO hungry!
• After the appetizers (around 8:00 p.m.), we’ll be giving out prizes (hourly) and playing a fun group game…which is a great way to meet a lot of new people!
• We’ll also have some board games available to play. You can also bring along your favorite games or other fun things to do in our event room, which will be open until midnight.
• As we have in the past, Renee will be sharing a late night devotional in the event room, around 11:30 p.m., to close out the night. Then it’s back to your rooms, where you can stay up as late as you want…or dare to!
• There is a swimming pool, hot tub, and workout room, so pack a swimsuit or workout clothes if you want to use those facilities.
• On Saturday, a continental breakfast will be served from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.
• Then checkout will immediately follow, from 11:30 – noon. (There will be a room where you can store your luggage during the workshops.)
• A variety of great workshops will be offered on Saturday from noon to 3:00 p.m.  More information to come!

Each time we meet at Mm, we desire to make a difference in people’s lives and marriages.  Last Friday, we hit a home run.  In their message entitled, “Your Space or Mine,” Pastor Tim & Renee helped us break down walls that come between married couples by not knowing how to deal with some of our differences – especially in the areas of spirituality and emotions.  Giving our spouse space to be themselves in these areas can be the difference-maker!  We had many comments from people after meeting in their groups that this message really freed them from some issues they have dealt with in this area.  Thank you, Pastor Tim and Renee, for sharing your hearts with us!

Our next Mm session will be a party! On Friday, December 11, at 7 p.m., we’ll have our first ever Mm Christmas Party in Fellowship Hall!  It will be a great time of fun, laughter, fellowship, prizes, and more!  Admission is free.  Please bring an appetizer or dessert to share.  Childcare will be available until 9 p.m.  More info will follow!

The annual Men’s Advance is a weekend that allows men to leave behind the distractions of their everyday lives and have an experience with God. The advance is centered around biblical teaching on issues relevant to men’s lives, but it is so much more.

The weekend gives men the opportunity to build strong relationships with other men through activities and fellowship, and to build one another up through their experiences in the Lord. There is nothing like 200 men coming to a place with open hearts ready to receive an impartation from God into their individual lives.

Thank you all for joining us this past Friday at Marriage Matters. It was awesome to see all of you.  We were so blessed by the kind words and great response we heard from many of you who were impacted by the message, “Simple and Honest.”

We are believing the Lord spoke something to your heart about how to seek after your spouse – and about the importance of building a connection with your spouse through simple and honest communication. We want to encourage you to set aside time to invest in each other, and give your spouse the best you can offer.

Thirteen married couples from Living Word enjoyed a beautiful fall day at Minnesota Harvest Apple Orchard on Saturday, October 10. The air was cool, the cider and soup were warm, and the apples were delicious.

Many of us enjoyed the free samples of apple cider, apple salsa, apple bread, and of course, the apples themselves. We also took our chances at the corn maze and took to the trails for a little horseback riding under the colorful fall leaves.

It was an an amazing time. Thanks to everyone for hanging out with us that day and making the orchard even more of a fantastic fall memory.
